July 5, 2012 - Historical French Market - New Orleans, LA: Three
couples from GWTA-J traveled together from PA to Branson, MO and on to New
Orleans. Larry & Colleen Powell, Bob & Sheila Uzmack, and Ron &
Carol Bevlin. We had fun touring the French Market, Bourbon Street, and riding
the Natchez steamboat.
July 7, 2012 - USS Alabama - Mobile, AL: Larry & Colleen Powell
and Ron & Carol Bevlin atopped at the USS Alabama in Mobile to take the
tour. This is where the two couples seperated because Colleen had to head for
home so she could go back to work. Now that's a bummer. Ron and Carol took
over three hours to tour the ship. Our forefathers earned every tribute they
ever got.
July11, 2012 - Key West, FL: Ron and Carol Bevlin rode down Route 1
to Key West. They spent a day touring the area and enjoying the sites. Lil
Bob got to ride the Conch Tour Train and get wooden coins as souvenirs. Key
West is beautiful and nice to visit but I don't want to live there.We had to watch. Lil Bob is like all little kids. You have to watch him because everytime he gets out - he likes to cause little problems. I know he was the culprit.
